Today I run my stock screener for YTD performance of global stock markets. First ranking contains all countries which are included in S&P global BMI (broad market index) group.

Leaders

S&P Indonesia BMI (US Dollar) 78
S&P Russian Federation BMI (US Dollar) 72,7
S&P India BMI (US Dollar) 64,3
S&P Brazil BMI (US Dollar) 61,2
S&P Chile BMI (US Dollar) 49,2

S&P Spain BMI (US Dollar) 0,6
S&P Switzerland BMI (US Dollar) 0
S&P Poland BMI (US Dollar) -0,4

As you can see emerging markets of BRIC region are still leading the ranking. China is with 41% YTD growth in top ten. Only two countries are in red numbers since the beginning of the year. To my surprise Poland is one of them. Undoubtedly Polish economy is in better shape then the rest of CEE markets.
Just for comparison US S&P 500 has returned +5,7%

Second ranking which I would like to present you is group of Frontier BMI. Frontier markets BMI return as such is +4,9%.
